The article considers the indices of evaluating the efficiency of commercial bank activity taking into account both external (ROE, ROA) and internal (Cost-Income) factors.
The development of market relations ant the trend towards the international educational standards brings about certain changes and reforms in the system of education. The above-mentioned factors, as well as the general state course towards innovative development, require the development of adequate management mechanisms in the system of education. The author suggests econometric modeling as one of such mechanisms.
The article analyses the data on cross ties factories in Russia, both the ones that are a part of the Joint Stock Company "Russian Railways" and the independent ones, including the manufacturers of white cross ties.

The article deals with the questions of financial stability of commercial banks and the features of credit organizations’ bankruptcy. It also identifies the bankruptcy indicators and defines the measures of financial recovery and the directions for commercial banks’ reorganization.
The given article suggests the method of estimation of individual entrepreneurs’ credit rating for commercial banks. The method is based on a complex estimation of a debtor and their business. The coefficient of a branch (Kb), the coefficient of psychological portrait (Kpp) and the coefficient of financial reporting (Kfr) should be defined and then it will be possible to calculate the coefficient of banking risk which is necessary for more exact estimation of the maximum sum of credit.
The article analyses the basic problems connected with forming economic reliability of a region, defines structural properties of a stable regional development at meso-level, and presents a graphic model of interrelation and subordination of potential, stability and economic reliability and competitiveness of a region.
In the given article the market development of the cable industry from 2003 to 2009 is considered. On the basis of dynamic numbers the manufacturing tendencies of cable production of the key Russian manufacturers are revealed by the method of analytical alignment, the forecast of volumes of cable production output for 2010 - 2011 is done. The ranging of the largest cable manufacturers of Association "Electrocable" on the volume of copper and aluminum processing for the last 7 years is carried out. The typical organizational-administrative actions taken by the participants of the cable market are allocated. On the basis of it the prospects of market cable production development are defined.
The paper discusses the phenomenon of patron-client relationship and social exchange in Russian political salons at the end of XIX and the beginning of XX centuries. M. Leonov argues that the salons functioned as an exchange network where actors were connected by a broker. For several decades this social mechanism has been used as a communication channel between the civil society and the state power.
The paper is devoted to the history of the system of education in Kalmyk steppe in the period from October 1917, including the types of elementary schools, the structure of teaching staff and their professional training.
