GLOBAL NATURAL GAS MARKET: MACRO-REGIONAL FEATURES AND THE ROLE OF RUSSIA
The purpose of the publication is to assess the problems and prospects of Russia in the global natural gas market. The argument is based on such methodological principles and methods as the principle of duality of the economic entities` economic nature, methods of system and institutional analysis. The article analyzes the current state of the world`s natural gas resources and their macro-regional features. The author`s understanding of the perspective directions of the gas market development in the world and in Russia is offered. Russia`s prospects on the global natural gas market are analyzed. Several recommendations are proposed for further effective development of Russia`s foreign economic cooperation in the gas sector.

DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS MARKET BASED ON THE SUPPLY AND DEMAND BALANCE SYSTEM
The article describes the concept of a system for balancing the demand of developers and the supply of organizations in the construction materials industry, defines its goals and functions, subject and objects, and identifies the principles of creating the system. The algorithm for forming a system of supply and demand balance on the regional construction materials market and the concept of interaction between construction market participants are presented. As a result of using the proposed system, it is possible to determine potential directions for the development of the regional construction materials market based on the assessment of the region`s resource potential and innovative developments in the field of construction materials production, as well as to develop mechanisms for the development and regulation of the regional construction materials market.

IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON THE STATE OF REGIONAL AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
The article analyzes the existing and potential economic consequences of the pandemic for enterprises of agro-industrial complex of the Samara region and Russia on the basis of official data and expert assessments published in the mass media, highlights the difference in the reaction of large and small businesses in the agro-industrial complex to a decrease in economic activity, and also examines the main measures taken by the government in the current situation, and emphasizes the need to adjust them taking into account industry specifics. The purpose of the study is to study the conditions and consequences of reduction of social and business activity caused by the pandemic COVID-19, for the enterprises of agro-industrial complex of the Samara region, the rationale for measures to support the industry in the new conditions and possibilities of agro-industrial complex in Russia to overcome the current situation. The research was conducted on the basis of theoretical, empirical and analytical research methods, the most important of which are economic-statistical, monographic, comparative, and computational-constructive. The study found that large businesses in the agro-industrial complex are resistant to the crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic does not significantly affect its results. Farmers and microenterprises, for the most part, do not have a margin of safety, are limited in receiving state support, and need to develop a package of special support measures.

Highlights: ♦ by the spring of 2020, when the restrictions on economic activity caused by the COVID-19 pandemic came into force, the agro-industrial complex of the Samara region came with a certain margin of financial strength and economic stability, which allowed it to survive the first months of the crisis much better than other sectors of the economy; ♦ the region`s agro-industrial system-forming companies are coping with the consequences of the crisis, thanks to many accumulated resources and support measures; small business, farmers and microenterprises that are losing marketing outlets are at risk; ♦ food inflation caused by the devaluation of the ruble and the increase in the cost of imports, the closure of borders, the breakdown of supply and sales links, the decline in consumer demand and its transformation towards cheap carbohydrates and fats will lead to a decrease in investment activity of agro-industrial complex` enterprises and a slowdown in their growth rates; ♦ large businesses represented by system-forming enterprises of agro-industrial complex have a margin of safety, and the COVID-19 pandemic does not significantly affect its results, while farmers and individual entrepreneurs in agriculture and the food industry do not have a "safety cushion" and are limited in receiving state support, so they need a package of special support measures.

THE EFFECT OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE
The article examines the factors that influenced the development of e-commerce ( electronic commerce), considers the features and advantages of electronic commerce in modern market conditions. Special attention is paid to the development of e-commerce during the spread of coronavirus infection: the dynamics of opening and closing online stores during the pandemic are presented, and the most popular and filled niches in e-commerce are studied.

MULTIVARIATE STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITY INDICATORS OF SAMARA MANUFACTURERS OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
Economic relations of manufacturers of construction materials, products and structures are studied. The main factors affecting their production and economic activities are highlighted. The models of the dependence of production volumes on factors affecting the production and economic activity of enterprises of construction materials industry are built, the impact of inflation on the performance indicators of construction materials is studied. The forecast of the dynamics of the studied indicators for the period up to 2024 is constructed.

DIRECTIONS OF IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF STATE SUPPORT MEASURES FOR INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
The article substantiates the need to develop innovative entrepreneurship as a factor of economic growth and its competitiveness in modern conditions of globalization and rapid development of technologies and the knowledge economy. The current directions of state support for the innovative sector of the economy in the context of the strategy of innovative development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 are considered. The relevance of summing up the results of the implementation of the positions of this document and selection of promising areas and ways of further state support for innovative entrepreneurship is emphasized. The article analyzes achievements in the field of innovative development of the economy, compares the level of innovative development in Russia and other countries on the basis of international ratings, and shows the dynamics of indicators of innovation activity in different sectors of the domestic economy. The main barriers to innovative development are identified and ways to overcome them with the help of state regulation measures are proposed. Among the barriers of effective implementation of state programs, the chaotic nature of legislation and disjointed actions of state support are noted. Attention is focused on the role of small and medium-sized businesses as the most financially vulnerable segment of the economy and at the same time promising in terms of its contribution to the economic and innovative development of the country.

STATE SUPPORT FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES: ACTIVITY OF MICROFINANCE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE REGIONS OF RUSSIA
The study examines an important problem of supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Russia on the basis of microfinance. The purpose of the study is to evaluate indicators describing the activity of microfinance lending systems for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the regions of Russia. The study used official statistics on the number and amount of microloans issued to SMEs in all regions of Russia in 2018. The article considers the following relative indicators: the number of microfinance loans per 1000 SMEs, the amount of microloans per 1 resident of the region, the amount of microloans per 1 SME, the average value of 1 microloan. The assessment of these indicators for all regions of the country is given, their average values and intervals of change typical for most regions are determined, and regions with high and low values of these indicators are identified. The considered methodology and developed tools (functions) can be used in further scientific works devoted to microfinance issues. The results of the study can be used by state and regional authorities in the formation and implementation of measures to improve the financing of the business sector. The developed models can be taken into account when determining the need for support of entrepreneurs in regions where the business sector is not developed. The obtained data can be used in the process of training bachelors and masters in universities.

ENSURING FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC STABILITY OF THE ENTERPRISE IN THE CONTEXT OF PANDEMIC
The article studies the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the financial and economic sustainability of the enterprise, the results of activity of LLC "Samara Stroyfarfor" analysis, conducted by the authors of the informational-analytical model, are presented. Estimation of its further development is given, ways of increasing financial and economic stability of the enterprise taking into account the instability of the external environment are proposed and justified.
