THE INFLUENCE OF ECONOMICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL POSITION OF THE TERRITORY ON ITS DEVELOPMENT
The author defines the term “economical and geographical position” as one of the main scientific notions
of economic geography. The viability of this term in a market economy is proved, the economic and
geographical position of various macro economic territories of Russia is evaluated by a special system
of indices suggested by the author.
