THE CONCEPT OF SHARED VALUE (CSV) IN RELATION TO ENSURING INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIES

The article considers the concept of CSV from the point of view of ensuring the inclusive development of individual territories. It is assumed that the relationship between social and economic progress can stimulate new directions of global development. The research used such methods as benchmarking, the method of scientific abstractions, and methods of analysis and synthesis. Conclusions are made about the possibility of creating economic value through creating social value; the criterion of true social entrepreneurship will be examined from the point of view of its ability to create shared value, not just social good, to foster inclusive development of the territories in which we operate, the value must be created not only for shareholders but also for society as a whole. Highlights: ♦ the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV), which is to strengthen the relationship between social and economic progress, can become the source of a new wave of global development based on the principles of inclusive development, especially in the context of changing “covid” consumer behavior; ♦ the new challenges of CSV development are: to create a system for measuring the created benefits; to create “rules of the game” - laws, institutions and standards of business practice implemented within the framework of the CSV concept; to publicly demonstrate the achievements of companies that use the CSV concept; and to raise awareness about the possibility of combining the solution of social problems with the simultaneous implementation of profitable strategies, which becomes especially relevant in the context of a pandemic.
