TRANSITION TO THE GREEN ECONOMY AS A STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE BLACK SEA ECONOMIC COOPERATION

Global environmental trends have a significant impact on the development of international and national strategies for the formation of the green economy. The Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) under study plays an important role in the formation of a new model of the global economy, which in the future will reflect environmental aspects. The study provides the main recommendations characterizing certain points of the strategy for the BSEC countries. Using the developed green economy strategy for the BSEC countries, key elements and effects are identified that will improve the socio-economic development of any country. The author proposes a set of measures for accelerating the transition to the green economy using the example of Russia as one of the key players in BSEC. The article discusses possible tools for implementing the green economy in BSEC. Keywords: BSEC, green economy, sustainable development, ecology, strategy, Russia, tools. Highlights: every year the environmental situation in the world worsens, which requires states to intensify the development of long-term environmental programs to reduce environmental risks; the author develops aa strategy for the transition to the green economy in the BSEC countries, which is a promising organization in the international arena; a set of measures for the accelerated transition to the green economy in Russia are proposed.
