DEMAND MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRICITY IN RUSSIA: STATE AND PROSPECTS

The article illustrates the main tools for managing the demand for electricity and the economic effect of their use at all levels of the economy. Based on the indicators of the demand volatility analysis developed by the authors, a matrix of regional electric consumption in Russia has been formed, with the allocation of regional groups with similar characteristics. The authors represent the analysis of the existing demand management elements laid down in the models of the wholesale and retail electricity markets of Russia, the calculation of the economic effect from the use of tools for managing own electricity demand using the example of one of industrial enterprises of the Samara region.
