The article represents the difference of the Russian and foreign approaches to the assessment of regulatory state influence on business. The authors use comparison methods, regulatory and legal base studies and other documents published on official websites, as well as the system analysis. The obtained results contribute to improving the regulation of the economy by the executive authorities, including in the direction of preventing the emergence of new excess and inefficient requirements for entrepreneurs by the state.
