LABOUR POTENTIAL OF THE POPULATION OF THE THIRD AGE AS A FACTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The article represents interim results of research performed in the framework of the project RHF ¹ 16-32-01030. The authors consider the Russian and foreign experience in the field of employment of the third-age population, and the impact of the population of this group on the labor potential in the economic development of territories and on the increase of the efficiency at enterprises. The article highlights the competitive advantages of aged workers compared with younger generations of professionals. As practical recommendations, the authors suggest directions of personnel policy in organizations focused on maximizing the economic effects of the labor potential use of the third age population.
