IMPORT SUBSTITUTION POLICY IN THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR UNDER NEW ECONOMIC CONDITIONS
The article defines conditions, the expediency of the import substitution policy in mechanical engineering based on the analysis of indicators in this economic sector. It describes in detail the proposed indicators for assessing the effectiveness of the machine-building sector of the economy. The author justifies the dedicated group of factors affecting the level of development of mechanical engineering, as well as the features of the proposed policy of import substitution strategies in the country.
