Stepanova T.Eu., Manokhina N.V.

In this article the authors examine the new rules, settings, due to radical changes in the Russian economy and especially in its institutional environment. Institutional changes in the activity of Russian corporations are associated with external challenges such as economic sanctions, which in many respects both change the configuration of macroeconomic policies and the imperatives of modern corporate development. The authors reveal the dualism of economic sanctions on the development of Russian companies, which manifests itself not only in the negative, but also in positive forms. Keywords: economic sanctions, Russian corporations, dual externalities, import substitution.
