ALGORITHMIC ASSESSMENT OF REGION’S SUBSTITUTION CAPACITY
The article is devoted to the issue of import substitution development in the Russian economy at the regional level. The author studies the scientific approaches to understand the essence of import substitution and its potential in terms of the current state of this issue and carries out their literature review. The author suggests a logical model of innovative import substitution, oriented on production of goods, which surpass their foreign analogues, and identifies significant aspects to assess import substitution capacity, and justifies the author`s approach to design the assessment algorithm of the region`s import substitution.
