INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES OF UNIVERSITIES IN RUSSIA IN TODAY’S ECONOMY: TRENDS, ASSESSMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES
The author considers the current trends in research activity of universities in Russia in the context of innovative economy development, and analyzes the dynamics of innovative development indicators of higher education for 2011-2015. The article represents the key barriers in development of innovative activity of Russian universities and the main trends in development of the higher education sector.
