The article illustrates the measures for victualling of the population, with the highest possible substituting imports with domestic products in the context of the economic crisis and the use of various types of sanctions against the Russian Federation. Important terms and conditions that ensure the optimal development of the food market, is the availability of adequate infrastructure. Using the logistics becomes a real tool for achieving competitive wholesalers, leading to costs reduction and, accordingly, to acceptable prices for the goods.
