ESTABLISHMENT OF REGIONAL ENVIRONMENT AS THE BASIS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE STRATEGY AREA
The paper illustrates the concepts of regional ecology, forms definition of regional ecology, and considers the object and methods of regional ecology. The authors represent the necessity of developing a new national project aimed at improving the social and ecological and economic conditions in the territory of the Volga basin, and formulate the basic principles of ecological and economic rehabilitation of the major regions.
