CORPORATE MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PRINCIPAL AND AGENT’S RELATIONS

The paper illustrates the relationship of the principal and agent in the system of corporate management. The author analyses the main issues arising in the process of separation of ownership and management functions: information asymmetry and opportunistic behavior management. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the Russian experience of owners and hired managers’ interaction. The article represents the typology of owners in Russian companies according to their objectives in relation to business.
