DEPOPULATION CRISIS: THE REGIONAL DIMENSION (ON THE MATERIALS OF THE ULYANOVSK REGION)
The tendencies of the demographic crisis in the Ulyanovsk region, its causes and consequences are considered. The stages that characterize the population change of the region from the middle of the XX century are analyzed, and a short-term forecast of further demographic development is provided.
