WATER TRANSPORT AS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FACTOR OF SAMARA REGION IN THE CONDITIONS OF WORLD ECONOMY GLOBALIZATION
The article reveals the role of water transport system in Samara region economic development sustainability. The economic functions of the system as well as the reserves of sustainable economic development in the region with regard to water transport are defined. The water transport system is presented as a territorial institution; its role in world economic relations intensification with Samara region and competitiveness enhancement in world economy is demonstrated.
