IMPACT OF IFRS ON THE TRANSPARENCY OF RUSSIAN COMPANIES
The author discusses the issues of transparency assessment in Russian companies as well as the role of transparency and information disclosure in favorable investment climate formation. The article reveals the importance and usefulness of applying International Financial Reporting Standards on the territory of the Russian Federation. The key role of IFRS in increasing the transparency index and investor confidence to financial reporting is considered.
