DEPOPULATION IN RUSSIA (1990S XX AND EARLY XXI CENTURY)*
The article considers the depopulation matter, its definitions, depopulation characteristics in Russia, distinguishing features from the similar phenomena in different countries; comprehensive information about fertility and mortality processes for the last 60 years after the end of the Great Patriotic War was given.
