MIGRATION PROCESS AND DEMOGRAPHIC SITUATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN IN THE MARKET CONDITIONS
The author has singled out certain regularities in changes in demographic development, population growth dynamics and its structure in the Republic of Tajikistan. There is made an emphasis on the fact that the natality rate in other regions is slowing down while inside the Republic of Tajikistan there is obvious migration intensification towards the line "rural area-city", though the major part of the population is still immobile.
