The article is devoted to the main problems connected with the development of tourist industry market. The detailed analysis of tourist services characteristics is given. The author defines the correlation between the increasing demand on tourist services and establishing the differential rent in tourist market, he also shows the mechanism of making rent. The recommendations for using rent index in the system of tourist industry market development management are suggested. Multiplicative effect from tourist industry market development is estimated.
