CLASSIFICATION OF THE APPROACHES TO THE DEFINITION OF THE TERM “REGION”
Different approaches to the definition of the term “region” could be classified according to the following characteristics of the classification: of the quality of alpha, continuity and contiguity. The evolution of the term “region” is traced (studied) with the help of the dialectic method that was developed by Gegel. Having analyzed all the suggested classifications, different approaches to the definition of the term “region” that have not been studied properly are distinguished (defined) in this article. Also the main directions (aspects) of the development of the term “region” are formulated.
