In compliance with Russian legislation private investors have no direct access to Russian securities market, so they have no other choice than act via professional participants of the securities market such as management companies, brokers, banks etc. The research presented in this article is to analyze the methods of cash investment suggested to individuals by financial institutions. The article comprises reviews on a number of financial institutions and provides statistics on their level of development with analysis of the popularity of the institutions with the public.
