THE PECULIARITIES OF ORGANIZING MILITARY PRODUCTION IN CIVIL ENTERPRISES IN THE USSR IN THE 1930s
In this work the author has analyzed the specificity of the military production organization in the USSR in the prewar period. The article provides a classification of the civil industrial enterprises according to the degree of their involvement in production for the needs of defense. As an example the author takes the development of the Stalingrad regional military-industrial complex as one of the key centres of the Soviet military industry in the 1930-1940s.
