SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES: WORLD EXPERIENCE AND RUSSIAN PRACTICE
The article is devoted to the establishment, functioning and problems of special economic zones in the world and in the Russian economy.
The author treats two variants of Russian economical development concerning with creation of special economic zones on its territory.
The author analyzes the world practice in creation special economic zones using the examples of such countries as Ireland, China, Japan and the countries of Scandinavia.
The author makes a prognosis about the development of a Special economic zone “Lipetsk” on the territory of Lipetsk region.
In spite of Lipetsk region’s positive assessment in the view of international agency of “Fitch”, the author is worried about dependence of this special economic zone’s future on political decisions of Lipetsk regional government.
