LEVEL OF THE DIGITAL DIVIDE AS THE INDICATOR OF REGULATION EFFICIENCY OF THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES SECTOR
The article is devoted to regulation efficiency evaluation of information and communication technologies sector using as an indicator the level of the digital divide between federal districts of Russia in their access to the fixed telephone communications, cellular communications and the Internet. The detailed comparative analysis of evolution of the level of the digital divide for the period from 1995 to 2005 was conducted. Forecast up to 2010 was given.
