POLITICAL ECOLOGY AS A SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINE
The article considers the problem of the formation of political ecology as an independent scientific discipline. It is mentioned that the subject of political ecology is the process of ecologization of the political sphere and political regulation targeted at the converting of natural environment in the frames of the system – “nature – society”. The conclusion is made that political ecology makes it possible to choose the right vector of the development of civilization.
