THE FORMATION OF THE TWO-STEP SYSTEM OF HIGHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND THE PROBLEMS OF ITS STATISTICAL PROVISION
The paper shows the role of higher education in evaluating the competitiveness of the country, the most important problems are analyzed as are the contradictions of the development of professional education and labour market. The author of the article considers the change to the two-step system of higher education, as well as the necessity to modernize the information support in the sphere of education. Some ways of improving the information base in the sphere education statistics are considered.
