The article represents the role of the tourism industry as an economic driver in Russia. The authors illustrate the key issues of the complex of territorial marketing in the Russian Federation, reveal the most preferred tourist destinations of Russia, assess the purchasing power of potential tourists, and emphasize the main solutions to marketing problems in the areas of tourism industry in Russia.
