The article represents the statistical analysis of the dynamics and prediction value of per capita income of the Russian population. The average per capita income depends on various factorial signs, and the author carries out the grouping of subjects of the Russian Federation on the most important factors influencing the level of per capita income of the population. The author uses the cluster and regression analysis methods and reveals the factors that determine the level of income of the population. As a result, the author forms the information and methodical approach to the development of social and economic policies of the regional government.
