THE ROLE OF MARKETING IN TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FROM UNIVERSITIES TO INDUSTRY

The transition to innovative development of the Russian economy is not possible without the involvement of high-end technologies for their introduction into the production process and timely non-use of mature products and production technology. To do this, you must develop technology transfer centers, created with leading technical universities - educational innovation centers, whose purpose is the transfer of innovative technologies from commercially significant research environment into the industry. Development of such centers is impossible without the use of marketing. The article describes its functions - determination of prices, market position, creating favorable conditions for commercialization of intellectual property and services in the field of intellectual property, search for new partners and investors, promoting the establishment of new business contacts between the developers of innovations and their customers. The article illustrates the necessity of creating special centers as a part of marketing departments and indicates the direction of their activities.
