STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF MEAT PACKING IN RUSSIA

The author considers the strategy of food and processing industry development in the Russian Federation until 2020, and this strategy entrusts the country`s meat industry with important tasks that can be solved while implementing a comprehensive analysis of meat packing and identifying and solving important issues of the industry. The study of meat packing is based on the officially published statistics of Rosstat and Samarastata. The study concludes that there is a positive trend in the policy of import substitution and development of the meat industry.
