The author formulates the purpose and role of integrated information systems in modern systems of knowledge management in organizations as a system that minimizes the impact of information broker, aggregating and filtering the information. Routine management of modern university is also inconceivable without building an effective system of decision-making. Deep automation of collection, transmission and processing of information, inherent in an effective management system of information-knowledge resources, represents the electronic company in real time. The author`s concept of formation and development of a corporate information system includes a circuit-algorithmic solution of the problem of CIS integration and the model of information- knowledge resources at university to promote the rational use of information technology. Based on the study, the author makes fundamentally valid conclusions and makes recommendations, the use of which will advance development of the educational sector of the national economy. The main provisions of the study, reflected in the monograph, are a prerequisite for the further development of the management theory on information richness of higher education institutions, methodological approaches to assess their readiness to improve information technology.
