DEMOGRAPHIC DETERMINANTS OF TOTAL POPULATION MOVEMENT

The article illustrates the methodical issues in development a system of demographic determinants to characterize the balance of the total population movement. By analogy with the coefficients of vitality, depopulation and effectiveness of migration relationships the author suggests a new index - the coefficient of demographic population movement. This indicator compares two different processes in the relative form. One of these processes, including mortality and emigration, leads to a decrease in the number of resident population of the territory. Another process, including fertility and immigration, leads to its growth.
