ASSESSMENT AND EVOLUTION OF POVERTY IN MODERN RUSSIA
The paper represents the problems of poverty assessment to determine the values of subsistence level. Special attention is paid to the assessment approach of the food basket value. The article illustrates evolution of poverty from the period of revolutionary Russia to the present day, when poverty has a "baby face".
