INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES OF SAMARA REGION IN THE CONDITIONS OF TRANSITION TO MARKET ECONOMY: BEHAVIOR MODELS AND LOCAL INITIATIVES*

The authors analyze the changes in economic and legal environment caused by the reforms in the 1990s as well as institutional transformations connected with private sector establishment. The economic practice in industrial enterprises of Samara region aimed at their adaptation to the market conditions are classified. The enterprise behavior models are pointed out: the model, aimed at survival and the model oriented at strategic enterprise development.
