CELTIC TIGER: MYTH OR REALITY? (ANALYSIS OF IRELAND’S ECONOMIC GROWTH)

Fedotova M.G.

The article disproves the myth of ‘Celtic tiger’, i.e. the Irish Economic miracle. Rapid economic transformation was reached because of globalization and the resulting convergence of the American and the EU economic systems. Therefore, the Irish economy could be described as predominantly American-style technologically advanced transnational tiger.
